Zaine's Corner!

18 March, 2011
Hey all!
This is Zaine, Blog Manager and Art Director of the WSNPP blog! Yeah, so right now, I know next to nothing about Wesnoth. I'm just here to help out with my other skills =). The banner and background? My designs ^_^

I may find the compulsion to constantly change the background so...bear with me ^-^;

Also, I would appreciate any input you may have to give about my art, be it about the banner or the background(s). Praise, criticism, random comments...anything!

Happy playing!

EDIT: a complaint has alerted me to how my first background had some bad contrast with other things in the blog. While I think of something else, this mostly featureless pre-provided  background will take the spot.

EDIT2: OK, this nice slab of green is the second background. What do we think? There seems to be some issues with how much of the background actually shows up...on my tiny laptop screen, only half of it shows...

Hm. So it seems that Blogger offers no way to post on a page that's not your Home page. That's...extremely stupid if you ask me. Seriously. But I guess I gotta work with that, so I'm separating every different train of thought (or topic, if you will) with a big line, and heading every single one with the date I started it. Hope that helps.

If the Lead Developer doesn't mind, I'll be posting anything important and holiday messages on the Home page.

Right, this blog needs a fresh new background, methinks! Anyone, anyone at all, suggest a colour, any colour!
If I get no outside input soon, I'll just do what I want, so if you want to see a certain thing in the background, suggest away! Oh, and everything will be in very light shades...contrast problems...

  1. Hey there Zaine!

    Tip for the banner:
    Use Photoshop or whatever image editing software you use to change the white background to a transparent background, and save it as a gif. Then re-upload it to the site. The white square outline is kinda annoying, and this will get rid of it.
